February 9th: Game Jam Post-Mortem

This week was game jam week at Warren Tech! st5ating on Monday we had exactly one week to make a game around the theme "Robots". You can find and play it here: https://hexrin.itch.io/techno-towers. My team worked great together and despite a couple of problems with versioning errors and GitHub mistakes we made a product all of us are very happy with. I was the team lead for this jam which went decently. There were some communication issues (that were my fault) but I have plans to resolve them as the team moves forward. As with all of my previous teams, communicating design ideas to the team was something we messed up, but with the prototype done I think everyone has a better understanding and we are working together on design work.

Example of textures I applied to one of my models. They aren't great, but from the distance, they are seen in-game they don't look half bad. All of the other models in this post were textured similarly in-game
