Last week I worked on bug fixes in trespasser, and began the process of animating a monster for the fantasy game with no name. The monster model was not going to work though, so i returned it to the modeler with some requests for changes. After that I had nothing to animate, so I was assigned to make buildings and props.
The first building I worked on was a medieval style tavern. This project took me several days to model and UV, but it was the first large successfully UVed model I have made. This project was really great and I learned a lot about the workflow for doing UV's and making buildings.
The next building I worked on was a tent. I used the wireframe modifier to create the proles from a cylinder, and then used another cylinder with a cloth simulation to drape the fabric. The tent still needs some work, but it was a quick and fun project to work on today.
I spent most of my time today working on a Nordic-inspired building that I plan to finish in the next two days.
