for the GMTK game jam 2023, I worked with a small team to make Burn Rubber, a tower-offense game. I worked as the team's artist and was challenged with creating everything seen in the game in just 48 hours. Due to the time restraints I decided to use gradient textures rather than PBR since its substantially quicker in Blender. This was my first time ever using gradient texturing, and I am really happy with how it turned out, especially combined with the shader used in engine.
The turrets turned out decently, I am very happy with the big chain gun turret, although the others are a bit lacking. Given more time I would have liked to spend more time on visual development.
