I made this skull in zbrush as a way to get back into it now that I have access to the software again. It started off as a warmup sketch but I enjoyed the design enough that I wanted to add some more detail. This project was also my first time using Polypaint which was a good experiment but definitely wont be something I try to use for game-ready models. The design of this skull is probably the thing I am least happy with. I wish I had spent more time adjusting the overall anatomy before I started adding mid-frequency details. Despite the design flaws, this was a fun way to get back into zbrush and a good warm up for my next project.
