In the last couple of days I have finished the small house I had been working on before, and a broken bridge I had been asked to make for the fantasy game. In addition, I animated the skeleton dying, and made a mushroom tree.
The house was fairly easy to finish, howeve33r the skeleton death animation gave me some trouble. I had planned to separate all of its bones and use a physics simulation to animate the skeleton falling apart, however, I realized that using an armature and a physics simulation was not going to work. I then decided to simply animate the skeleton falling apart, however because of how I set the rig up the arms and head were the only separate pieces. In the future, I may change this animation to use a different rig, however, for now, I am going to keep the whole skeleton in one piece.
The bridge and mushrooms were slightly challenging to make, but I am happy with how they turned out.
I am hoping to do some more work in UE4, however, I don't have a git set up yet so I can't access our project.
