October 12th-24th

This week, I spent time working on my running animations. I got my initial running animation into a nearly game-ready state, and began work on another. My first running animation proved too slow, so I am now working on a second, based upon the way the cheetah runs. Next week I am planing to finish that animation and start work on several of the other monster animations.
One of the largest issues I had this week was fixing the weight painting on the hips. Because the rig has to both walk upright and crawl, the hips were shrinking when I was creating the run animations. I had to put a bunch of time into fixing that weight painting. It finally worked, but the solution I have is imperfect, and I think I will need to create another rig for the run animations.
