This week I made huge progress on my animation skills. My biggest breakthrough of this week was learning how to fully optimize the graph editor in Blender. Knowing this tool allowed me to make my animations seamless, and gave me more precise control over the bones. Another big accomplishment this week was finally getting a working run animation for the Monster. After nearly a dozen attempts, I was able to create a quadrupedal running animation for it that I was happy with.
My final project of the week was learning how to correctly import animations into Unreal engine. This was followed by a full day of troubleshooting the export process in blender, so I could avoid stretching in my animations. This will carry over into next week, where I plan to learn how to bake animations within Blender in order to fix the multiple issues showing up in Unreal Engine.
