September 22nd: Tileable Buildings.

This week I worked more on making buildings. I first got low-poly to hi-poly mesh baking to work, then went on to design a tileable building system.
I made a big breakthrough with my substance painter mesh map baking this week. The third photo shows my 300,000 poly mesh baked onto a 10,00 polygon mesh. this was the first time I got poly reduction to work, so it was very exciting for me.
The tileable buildings have also been quite successful so far. In theory, these should be able to create any needed building for my project. I may need to change gears, as Mr. Compton showed me a way of procedurally creating buildings rather than doing them by hand.

this is the current state of my tileable building set. All pices are separate and the building can scale to any size.
