In the last two weeks I have made tremendous progress in my animation for the Trespasser project. The biggest breakthrough I had was in the use of the Rigify add-on for Blender. I learned how to use Rigify to generate a more complex rig from the basic meta rig. This allowed me more control over my animation, and made giving the monster weight easier.
In the last two weeks I worked on improving my animations for the monster, and refined my walk cycle. I have now animated the walk cycle for this monster four times, and the improvement from the original is clear.
My animations were cut from the soon-to-be due prototype as the programmers needed more time to work with the AI, however they still need it semi-complete for the due date.
